P1 Parents grows the same way a good parent WhatsApp group does: one family shares what they learned, and it saves the next family the worry. You do not need to be an expert. If you have been through a registration phase, sat through an open house, or simply know your school's group link, that is worth sharing.
Join your cohort group
Every Primary 1 cohort runs its own WhatsApp group of parents going through the exact same year, real-time registration updates, open-house news and answers from families one step ahead. Pick your year in the panel below.
Add your school's parent group
Know or help run the WhatsApp group for a primary school? Share the link and we'll check it and add it to the directory so other families can find it too. Not sure if yours is listed? Browse the directory first.
Send a correction or a tip
Spotted something out of date, or have something worth sharing, an open-house date, how a registration phase actually went for you, a practical tip about a school? Message us on WhatsApp. It helps the next parent, and it keeps the site accurate.
Volunteer as a named reviewer
If you're a parent or an educator willing to be credited reviewing our guides, especially the financial-assistance and special-needs pages, it strengthens trust for every family who reads them. Message us with a little about yourself and which pages you could look over.

The quickest way to reach us, or to send a group link, a correction or a tip, is a WhatsApp message. And if P1 Parents helped you, forwarding it to another family is the kindest thing you can do: most parents find us because a friend one step ahead shared the link.
Find your child's group
Every cohort has its own WhatsApp group of parents going through the exact same year, real-time registration updates, school reviews, balloting news and answers from people one step ahead of you. Pick the year your child starts Primary 1.
The 2026 registration exercise runs from 30 June to 30 October 2026, with the citizen and PR phases finishing in late August. This is the live cohort, phase dates, balloting and school choice are happening right now.

Plenty of runway. Useful if you're weighing a home move for distance priority or choosing a kindergarten with an eye on P1.
