P1 Phase 3 for International Students: Registration, Vacancies and Results

Phase 3 is for children who are neither Singapore Citizens nor Permanent Residents. Parents first submit an indication of interest. If a place is available, MOE decides whether an offer can be made and assigns the child to a school.

Last reviewed against official sources: 19 July 2026

Independent parent-run guide: not affiliated with MOE or any school. Phase 3 dates and process change each year — always confirm against the official MOE sources before you act.

Your next step

What should you do now?

I submitted the indication of interest Nothing further is required right now. No school preference was submitted, so there is nothing to change except your particulars where the P1 Registration Portal permits. MOE emails the outcome by the end of October 2026 — keep your contact email active until then.
I have not submitted The submission window closed at 4.30pm on 25 May 2026. Late submissions and appeals are not accepted for this exercise. Your options are the alternatives below — or the indication of interest for the next exercise, which opens in May each year.
My child has become a Singapore Citizen or PR Phase 3 is only for children who remain non-Citizens and non-PRs. If citizenship or PR status is granted during the exercise, your child may instead be eligible for a Singapore Citizen or PR registration phase — contact MOE promptly to confirm the correct route.
I am preparing for a future year The Phase 3 indication of interest opens in May, well before the main phases — missing the May window means missing Phase 3 for that exercise. Start gathering the documents in the checklist below from around March, and recheck MOE's dates for your child's registration year.
