Common questions
Is Mee Toh School a SAP school? +
No. Mee Toh is a government-aided co-educational school, not a Special Assistance Plan (SAP) school. It has Buddhist community roots, founded in 1954 by Venerable Kong Hiap of Leong San Temple, and it moved to its current Punggol campus in 2005.
Does Mee Toh School have an affiliated secondary school? +
Yes. Mee Toh is affiliated to Manjusri Secondary School, Singapore's only Buddhist government-aided secondary school, established by the Singapore Buddhist Federation in 1982. A P1 place at Mee Toh can give a priority route into Manjusri at Secondary 1 posting.
How hard is it to get into Mee Toh at P1? +
It is competitive in the open phases. In the 2025 exercise, Phase 2C had 153 applicants for 119 places, and the school has balloted in Phase 2C every year from 2019 to 2025. Living within 1km and holding an earlier-phase priority both help. Check the live vacancy and applicant numbers for your year on MOE's balloting data checker.
