School connections

How this school links to the wider system, secondary and preschool, each of which can shape the P1 and later journey.

Affiliated secondary school None

Temasek Primary School has no MOE-affiliated secondary school, so a P1 place here gives no affiliation priority into any particular secondary. Secondary posting follows the normal PSLE and Secondary 1 Posting Exercise. A shared name with a nearby secondary does not by itself mean an affiliation.

Settling in

The practical things once a place is confirmed: orientation, getting to school, and care after school. These vary by school, so confirm the specifics with Temasek Primary School.

Orientation

The school has not published its P1 orientation details for the January 2027 intake yet. Schools usually announce around October to November. Visit the school website.

Programmes and open house

Temasek Primary School's CCAs, its two MOE programmes, and its open house date.

Programmes & CCAs

Temasek Primary School lists 15 CCAs with MOE, including Badminton, Girl Guides (Brownies), Choir and Art and Crafts. Not every CCA on the list runs every year, and some have limited places, so confirm with the school before counting on one.

Its Applied Learning Programme is RoboALERT (Applicative Learning Experience through Robotics at Temasek) (STEM - Sustainability). Its Learning for Life Programme is SOAR -- Sports Opportunities for Active lifestyle and physical Resilience (Sports & Outdoor Education).

Stage 1 · before you register

Is this school right for us?

Affiliated secondary

None

High-ability

Not a GEP school

What Temasek is known for

Applied Learning Programme in STEM and Sustainability. The school runs RoboALERT, a robotics based programme that lets pupils apply science and technology to real world sustainability challenges.

Sports and outdoor education. Its Learning for Life Programme, known as SOAR, builds physical resilience and an active lifestyle through sport and outdoor pursuits.

Temasek Primary does not host the Gifted Education Programme, so more able learners are stretched through everyday classroom differentiation rather than a separate GEP track.

Is it a fit for your family? What to weigh

Especially if you have no older child here to go on, these are the things worth checking before you put the school down.
Daily travel and distance
At 501 Bedok South Avenue 3 (Bedok). Living within 1km both shortens the daily commute and, if a phase goes to a ballot, puts you in the top priority tier, so check your home-to-school distance on MOE's locator before you commit.
A head start into secondary school
None. Temasek has no affiliated secondary school, so a place here gives no advantage in the later Secondary 1 posting.
Teaching identity
Government, co-educational.
High-ability learners
Not a GEP school. High-ability children are identified through MOE's separate national screening, which is open to pupils at any school.

Stage 3 · after you're in

Visiting

Temasek Primary School does not feature in the usual MOE open house roundups, so contact the school directly or through its website to ask about visit or orientation sessions.

Common questions

Is Temasek Primary School affiliated to a secondary school? +

No. Temasek Primary School has no MOE secondary school affiliation, so pupils go through the usual Secondary 1 Posting exercise at the end of Primary 6 based on their PSLE results and choices.

Is Temasek Primary a GEP school? +

No. It is not one of the primary schools that host the Gifted Education Programme. MOE is also phasing out the GEP from 2027 in favour of new school based approaches to stretch high-ability pupils.

Was there balloting for Primary 1 in 2025? +

Yes. In the 2025 exercise, balloting was required at both Phase 2A and Phase 2C, so places were not guaranteed for every applicant in those phases.

Does Temasek have an affiliated secondary school? +

No. MOE does not list an affiliated secondary school for Temasek Primary School, so a P1 place here gives no affiliation priority into any secondary. Secondary posting follows the normal PSLE and Secondary 1 Posting Exercise.
