Mee Toh describes a whole-school approach rather than a level-by-level curriculum: outdoor exploration, weekly recycling, Interdisciplinary Project Work with Values-in-Action (IPW-VIA), environmental events and community gardening projects, aimed at recycling, water conservation, reducing plastic use and community outreach. SENCE @ MTS (Sports Education Nurturing Character Excellence) received Learning for Life Programme recognition in 2014. It comprises four components: Physical and Outdoor Education, the Programme for Active Learning (P1–P2), Sports CCAs (P3–P6), and a named signature activity, ACE Wushu @ Mee Toh School.

The Sports CCA structure follows three tiers from P3 to P6: Explore/Engage through the PE curriculum, available to every pupil; Experience through CCA skill development, available to pupils in a sports CCA; and Evolve, excellence opportunities for pupils who progress further, which are not guaranteed to every CCA member.

• Mathematics. The school runs a Primary 1 “100th Day” celebration with mathematical activities in July, and an annual MTS Maths Week aligned to the International Day of Mathematics (14 March). The pages reviewed do not describe a Learning Support for Mathematics (LSM) screening process or a higher-ability mathematics pathway—confirm this directly if it matters to your family.
• English Language. EL Alive! covers poetry recitation, twisted tales and drama performance; World Wise Readers moves from fiction classics in lower primary to critical analysis of current affairs in upper primary; the SEED curriculum applies interdisciplinary, experiential tasks across subjects.

What parents should confirm

How is the P2 CCA choice actually made?

Mee Toh’s CCA page states Primary 2 pupils choose at the end of Term 4 for participation from Primary 3, but does not describe how oversubscribed CCAs are allocated if more pupils choose one activity than there is space for—ask the school directly.

Are there additional fees?

Instrument rental, costumes, Wushu equipment, competition trips and camps such as Dharma Camp are not itemised in the published programme pages—confirm costs before your child commits.

Can a pupil change CCA later?
