Public transport and walking

The school is located at 80 Tengah Garden Avenue, Singapore 699915. The school’s own page names public bus service 872; it does not currently name a nearest MRT station, consistent with Tengah’s Jurong Region Line stations still being under construction.

Rather than one generic transport description, families should compare:

• public bus
• parent drop-off
• walking
• cycling with an adult, subject to the school’s own cycling-permission and safety-briefing requirements

Use registration distance correctly

The MOE home–school distance category determines admission priority during an oversubscribed phase. It is not a measurement of:

Pioneer’s school-rules page sets out specific standards: hair must be short and neatly combed for boys, who must also be clean-shaven with no beard or moustache; girls with longer hair should have it neatly tied up or plaited using black rubber bands, ribbons or scrunchies; tinted or dyed hair is not allowed. Sports shoes are prohibited except during sports activities, and only plain white socks fully covering the ankle are permitted. The family cannot yet cover normal dismissal, the child would need an unsustainable wake-up time, or the plan relies on an unconfirmed student-care place or an unnamed school-bus service.
